As a result of my continued involvement in the world of fitness and sports performance training, I learned from my mentor Brian Diaz of the importance of training logs. Hence, below are my attempts to accurately document what I do as a collegiate soccer player, both on and off the field. Enjoy!

Closing Out the Week

Friday was a busy day despite having no classes.  Morning shooting practice with the midfielders immediately followed by an afternoon brick.

Hit my TT loop for a repetition of race-like speeds, terrain, and conditions.  19.2 mph avg over 16.75 miles.  181 bpm avg (193 max) over 49 minutes of riding.

Transitioned into run which proved to be very difficult after the first half mile - very hot and legs started to get tired.  Ended up being 1.75 miles, 11:40, 9.1 mph avg, 186 bpm (197 max), with a N8 pace calculation of 6:32 min/mile (mathematically it's more around 6:40).

Still not where I want to be yet but always building and adjusting to summer heat - which is much better than training in the cold. Enjoyed having mom up to visit as well last night.
