As a result of my continued involvement in the world of fitness and sports performance training, I learned from my mentor Brian Diaz of the importance of training logs. Hence, below are my attempts to accurately document what I do as a collegiate soccer player, both on and off the field. Enjoy!

Days 2 and 3

Similar format as Day 1:
Morning trail test followed by practice, then afternoon nap followed by evening session.
Trail run on Day 2 went exactly the same as Day 1, coming in 3rd for my group comfortably at 12:38. Trail run today (Day 3) Coach said we were allowed to cruise it if we came in under 15 minutes. Came comfortably in at 14. Probably should've went out for a stage win today since I let only one guy pull out ahead of me, but that wouldn't have been too classy since everyone else was content to hold peleton pace and run together for each other. Coach very upset that some people still could not make the time, so unfortunately we will probably have to run it at race pace on Day 4.
Both morning sessions consisted of skills work and small sided games and afternoon sessions consisted of 1v1 drills, shooting, large 11v11 games, and sprints at the end.

Trying to stay positive and consistent, as I said to dad today, I am having a better preseason than I thought I would two weeks ago, however not compared to what I'd hoped 2 months ago.
