As a result of my continued involvement in the world of fitness and sports performance training, I learned from my mentor Brian Diaz of the importance of training logs. Hence, below are my attempts to accurately document what I do as a collegiate soccer player, both on and off the field. Enjoy!

Saturday's Work

Great solo ride/swim by BD this morning.
Much needed cardio and fitness work for me afterwards.
BD made the call for mile repeats. Nice to have Rachel and Kelsey join us as well.
800M warm up and stretches.
Then 6:30 mile. Followed by 5 minute rest. Feeling good, made the call to go for a PR. Made the 2nd in 5:29. Pleased with this, felt like I might be able to go 5 or 10 seconds faster on an early week run when the legs are fresh. Ended with 15 minutes of plyo/quickness drills, which I was actually going all-out on Brian.

Then pullers lift at gym.
SA DB snatches combined with walking lunges.
KB SA pulls combined with horizontal ring pull ups.
Leg lifts in holsters paired with kneeling lat. pulls.
Ended with NG chin ups to fail.

Great week, glad to be back. Nice work to all AE athletes. Tour rolls on, I can only hope Lance will find a way to rally.

  1. A VERY DECE 5:29... I can't hold that even with fresh legs!
