As a result of my continued involvement in the world of fitness and sports performance training, I learned from my mentor Brian Diaz of the importance of training logs. Hence, below are my attempts to accurately document what I do as a collegiate soccer player, both on and off the field. Enjoy!

Yellow feels good

Today the yellow jersey was pried off the shoulders of BD as Lance (aka Zimm) cruised to a solid track stage win this morning. 400 M shuttles were very difficult, the first 5 paced out nicely between Brian, Lance, and young Tyler. Then battle ensued on the 6th 400. Zimm with a slip on the last turn before the final 100M sprint, but was able to overcome an attacking Tyler at the finish, and gap BD by 3 seconds, enough to transfer the yellow. Level 8 work because of such a high level of humidity and heat.

Then work with fellow Activedge athletes followed by a solid lift with BD.
To start: Dip challenge, 25 straight up without stops, BD with the double or nothing call succeeds with 50 total. Well done sir.
All body: Bench press, 10, 8, 6, 2 reps, working up to 155 lbs. Olympic ring pull ups, bent over BB row, hanging clean to press, Lance side lunges. Good work.

My only comment on the day: Chad I hope you wake up on time tomorrow!

Tomorrow looks rough with a hilly TT bike, followed by a two mile run. Will BD be on his A-game?
