As a result of my continued involvement in the world of fitness and sports performance training, I learned from my mentor Brian Diaz of the importance of training logs. Hence, below are my attempts to accurately document what I do as a collegiate soccer player, both on and off the field. Enjoy!

Beowulf himself would call this day epic.

Morning lift with sleepyhead Chad at AE:
Bench press, warm up, 6 at 135 lbs, 5 at 145 lbs, 4 at 155 lbs, 1.5 at 165 lbs. Combined with three sets of WG pull ups. Then three sets of decline med ball twist catch abs, and BB curls. Decent all around work-age, quite pleased with my progress on the bench. Will need to do a hard all body lift tomorrow with BD to end out the week on a good note.

Then the massive ride at mid-day in extreme heat. Brian with a great lead out and sick pulls to help save the overall mph average. After his little attack 15 miles in I thought I'd be a goner, but was able to rally and pull up some very critical climbs. Legs were very sore 2/3rds of the way in, and after some hard lead climbs near East Chapel Hill High, I was doing all I could to hold the BD's wheel on the final 3-4 mile stretch. He is turning into a machine on the bike. Came in at a total distance of 50.81 miles at a pleasing 18.6 mph average (thank you again Cateye). Legs will be paying for it tomorrow morning during track speed work.
