As a result of my continued involvement in the world of fitness and sports performance training, I learned from my mentor Brian Diaz of the importance of training logs. Hence, below are my attempts to accurately document what I do as a collegiate soccer player, both on and off the field. Enjoy!

Summer Catch Up

Whew!  Been a busy summer so far between work and training but things are rolling along very well.  I am in a better place physically, emotionally, and mentally than I was last summer and fall.  Very thankful to have some amazing people in my life supporting me through and through as I start the transition into my last college semester and the real world soon thereafter.

Brian, Tyler, and I have been rolling along well with our summer training...squeezing in team workouts together when we can and pushing each other as always.  Today the team and I did a cool 4 mile road race out in Carrboro called "4 on the Fourth"  We had lots of fans and great showings by all the AE/CapRun team members...Rachel Kroll and Nelson even brought home some hardware in their age group divisions!  I came in 4th in the 20-24 division which I'm pleased with since I'm running against some tough collegiate competition.  Some cool pics of the race below:

Hope everyone is enjoying their summer and happy Independence Day!
