As a result of my continued involvement in the world of fitness and sports performance training, I learned from my mentor Brian Diaz of the importance of training logs. Hence, below are my attempts to accurately document what I do as a collegiate soccer player, both on and off the field. Enjoy!

Week of Cold

Been battling a bad head cold since late Wednesday...managed to get through some tough tests this week and a number of other assignments/meetings so that's been good.

Wednesday's upper body lift went well and took Thursday off to get work done.  Friday we were back in the gym for some heavy lower body work:
Jump rope warm up, abs, squats (working up to 240 lbs), RDLs, DB rows, hip thrusts, and manual leg lifts.

Today the team spent the majority of the morning running a 7v7 tournament on our complex for our usual round of fundraising.  Being out in the cold all morning didn't help and then we caught a surprise snow storm on campus later in the evening:

I need some warm weather so I can get over this cold and start re-logging some miles outside...until then, hope everyone has a great weekend!
