As a result of my continued involvement in the world of fitness and sports performance training, I learned from my mentor Brian Diaz of the importance of training logs. Hence, below are my attempts to accurately document what I do as a collegiate soccer player, both on and off the field. Enjoy!

Week In Review

Finished off the week's training well on Friday with a double run workout with Brian. First hit the Duke trail for a two mile out and back- first mile at 7:30 then back in (on the uphill section) at 6:30. Pleased Brian pushed the last half mile to bring us in strong. Then immediately hit the track with the team for speed/plyo work. Ended with 12x40 yd dashes.

Today Kelsey, Mollie, and I headed out to the Duke turf for a good shooting session. Despite the mid-day heat on the turf we got a solid 2 hours of work in. Thankful to Brian, Kels, and Mollie for pushing me through a good week. Also enjoyed watching the opening stage of this year's Tour de France today as well as following Dad on the mountain bike as he ran through Duke forrest. In all a good week of training. Best of luck to Brian in his sprint tri tomorrow in Ohio and well-wishes to everyone on this 4th of July weekend!
