As a result of my continued involvement in the world of fitness and sports performance training, I learned from my mentor Brian Diaz of the importance of training logs. Hence, below are my attempts to accurately document what I do as a collegiate soccer player, both on and off the field. Enjoy!

Catching Up Although Hurt

Friday's workout was a fun one as we did various quickness and plyo sprint drills including parachute sprints. Later that evening we had a great send off dinner for the gym at Dain's Place for Morven and Krishinda...they will be greatly missed at the gym as they go off to grad school.

This weekend was tough mentally and emotionally....not something I thought I'd be going through this summer. A 38 mile ride with Brian, Morven, and Chip Denton helped on Saturday morning. I tried to bury the pain out there on the course and although it didn't work, I'll never turn down a ride with my friends. Also had a good time visiting with Nana and Pops on Saturday.

Back on the grind today- which is the toughest part to get up and keep going like things are normal. Morning workout with the team: Warm up, then 1 mile at 6:30, 4x200M sprints, and 4x100M sprints. Meredith- thanks for your hug this morning, sometimes the little things mean a lot. After work I lifted with Brian.
Full body:
BW bench for 3 sets (145 lbs 8, 7, 5 reps) combined with clap push ups to fail.
Decline med ball toss abs combined with Lance side lunges
Hamstring let downs combined with BB rows
Ended with planks and DB curl to press

So thankful to have my family and Brian behind me right now...thanks guys...you mean the world to me. Oh and BD- thanks for these sweet aero bars...can't wait to try em!
