As a result of my continued involvement in the world of fitness and sports performance training, I learned from my mentor Brian Diaz of the importance of training logs. Hence, below are my attempts to accurately document what I do as a collegiate soccer player, both on and off the field. Enjoy!

Monday Start

Kicked off the week much more tired than usual...probably because of a combination of two straight days at the pool along with the ride/run Sunday combo. Nonetheless tour rolled.

Morning work on the track with the team:
Warm up- 200M hard, 100M jog, 200M hard....repeat three times. Very tired and glad to have T there to push through.

Tiredness made for a hard day at work but glad to get a good lift afterwards.
Pushers-
DB bench- 5 sets of 5 working up to 70 lbs DBs for the last two sets (last set to fail at 7- thanks BD for the spot). Combined this with 4 sets of 100 jump ropes.
DB fly on sight incline- 3x10 working up to 30 lbs DBs. Combined with leg press 3x8 with 5.25 plates on each leg on last set.
Then 3x12-16 dips combined with single leg BW squats on half foam roller.
Ended with double box jump series combined with planks (3x45 seconds with 45 lbs plate added). Tour re-routes to BD designed cross-training in the gym tomorrow morning.
