As a result of my continued involvement in the world of fitness and sports performance training, I learned from my mentor Brian Diaz of the importance of training logs. Hence, below are my attempts to accurately document what I do as a collegiate soccer player, both on and off the field. Enjoy!

Warrior Wednesday

Tough hot Wednesday here on campus but a great day for practice nonetheless.
Headed into the weight room for a quick lift with Mark before practice:
Warm up, then 5 sets of bench, (6 x 135lbs warm up, 5 x 145 lbs, 5 x 155 lbs, 4 x 160 lbs, 1.5 x 165 lbs, 7 x 135 lbs) Lots of chest, didn't anticipate having no other time for auxiliary lifts but it was better than nothing. Ended with a 10 min. ab rotation.
Then hit the field:
Small sided 3v6 possession games
45 min of 18 to 18 11v11 game. Played well and felt good
Then ended with a series of sprints.
In all it was a good day of intense activity...looking forward to an off day with only a light run tomorrow.

Also happy Caleb's surgery went well this afternoon...now time for his comeback!

  1. Are you just lifting on you own these days or team designed?
