Ab routine
Hanging cleans- 3 sets of 6 working up to 135 lbs
BB Squats- 3 sets of 8 working up to 225 lbs
BB RDLs- 3 sets of 8 at 105 lbs
Hanging leg raises- 3 sets of 15
Pushups- 3 sets of 15
Dynamax wall throws- 3 sets of 10 each side
Ended with 2 sets of 7-8 reps of BB curls at 65 lbs
Ate a good recovery dinner and then headed out to help Coach Shaw with his VA Legacy youth team. Was a good chance to see all the young guys again and kick around with them for thier session. In all a good day of activty to kick off the week.
Maybe "weak" kickoff is better... come on now! Let's kick it up a notch chief! Time to become better in the offseason..

ReplyDeleteI'd like to see you two pansies squat 225 lbs 8x on your 3rd set after doing hang cleans at 90% of your own body weight!
ReplyDeleteOld Zimm... the 10 secs it takes you to reach lactate and fail is what Zimm Jr. and I operate on for the entire 60 min session. I guess intensity is relative as you age...
