As a result of my continued involvement in the world of fitness and sports performance training, I learned from my mentor Brian Diaz of the importance of training logs. Hence, below are my attempts to accurately document what I do as a collegiate soccer player, both on and off the field. Enjoy!

Conclusions

We had our final team meeting this afternoon. Definitely a sense of disappointment but no regrets among team mates and coaches. Coach made a number of points reminding us of the good things we've accomplished this year: our first 20-win season (more wins than any other team left in the NCAA tournament right now) and a #1 national ranking for almost one month. We produced our second USA South Conference title and dominated the all-conference team selections. Nothing to hang our heads about. Coach emphasized the importance of our off-season efforts and we are already looking forward to spring training. I'm not saying that I'm tired of my athletic endeavors right now, but I do need a change of pace and the time has finally come. Time to refocus and channel my efforts toward a number of new goals both on and off the field.

  1. Zimm, I know you're not fully satisfied and always looking to make improvements, but you had a good season and the effort you put in should never be questioned. I'm anxious to see what comes next for you and happy to be a part of the life long Tour we both ride in together...
