As a result of my continued involvement in the world of fitness and sports performance training, I learned from my mentor Brian Diaz of the importance of training logs. Hence, below are my attempts to accurately document what I do as a collegiate soccer player, both on and off the field. Enjoy!

Tuesday Practice

CNU soccer season rolls with another pre game practice this afternoon. Usual routine with warm up, passing, crossing, and finishing drills. Then scrimmages and ended with crossing game.
Leg feeling good, hoping that it continues to stay strong.
Mental preparation for a big game tomorrow begins tonight. With some injuries to some of our key guys in practice this week there is no telling what may happen...it will be a fast and physical game.

Was also very nice to chat with Brian on the phone for awhile today. Glad to hear his training is going well as his big race day quickly approaches...was also nice to start planning some of our Christmas break training endeavors, should be fun!

  1. Hi Zimm! Glad to hear the leg is feeling good! Looking forward to watching the Webcast tonight. Wish I could be there! Nelson starts basketball try-outs. No rest for the weary Mom! You talking about Christmas already? I have to get through Halloween, Austin, Thanksgiving, Tyler's Birthday, Gibbons playoffs, etc., etc., before I can handle Christmas!! Stay positive and smile a lot! It's good for you!
