As a result of my continued involvement in the world of fitness and sports performance training, I learned from my mentor Brian Diaz of the importance of training logs. Hence, below are my attempts to accurately document what I do as a collegiate soccer player, both on and off the field. Enjoy!

Mid Week Intensity

Time for us to start prepping as conference play quickly approaches.
Got back into my routine for rehab today, followed by a hard afternoon practice:
Warmup, heading/ladder/dribble drills rotation, followed by circuit. "Check-to-the-ball" passing and trapping drills combined with long ball drills. Then shooting and 1v1 drills for midfielders and forwards. Ended with 10 50 yd sprints and abs.
Was very very hot today, which is good prep for our Texas trip next weekend. Disappointed the leg got sore today, most likely as a result of a combination of missing rehab and running the Noland yesterday along with sprints today. Icing and rehab continues, hoping to stay on top of it.

  1. And probably all the passing and shooting drills didn't help any either...lots of work during single leg activities regardless if switching sides...
