As a result of my continued involvement in the world of fitness and sports performance training, I learned from my mentor Brian Diaz of the importance of training logs. Hence, below are my attempts to accurately document what I do as a collegiate soccer player, both on and off the field. Enjoy!

Comeback 2.0 Engaged

Morning Track Work with the AE Team:
Warmup/strectch- felt good
400 M intro at 1:22
Jog 25 yds, 25 yd sprint, jog 25 yds - repeat for 10 sets
Then 100 yd sprint, jog the turn - repeat 10 times
Felt better than expected for first day back but definitely have work to do.

Followed by all-body lift.
4 sets of bench, worked up to 155 lbs combined with 3 sets of 7 WG chin ups (no weight added)
EZ bar bell curls, with BB row.
French EZ bb curls with seated SA shoulder press
L ups with decline med ball russian twists.

Mid day ride was beastly, very pleased with it.
Ended up being 33 miles, cut it short with the heat. Did intervals for the first 2/3 - 8 minutes hard, 6 minutes light, then finished the last 1/3 all out. Came in with a 17.6 mph avg, good for a first ride back, need to be back well over 18.5 next week. Brian was a workhorse as usual, had a great finishing kick at the end.
Rest of the week is looking tough, hoping to keep the legs.
