As a result of my continued involvement in the world of fitness and sports performance training, I learned from my mentor Brian Diaz of the importance of training logs. Hence, below are my attempts to accurately document what I do as a collegiate soccer player, both on and off the field. Enjoy!

Wed/Thurs Work

Good two days of fitness:
Wed:
Cancellation of morning distance run- just not enough time to recover from Tues.
Pullers lift with BD.
NG chin ups, power cleans, BB curls, tricep work, 3 way shoulder raises.

Thurs:
Duke trail hill repeats, 4x. Very hard. First 2 at roughly 2 min 45 sec. Last two just under 2 min 30 sec.
Then all around lift:
Flat DB bench (thank you chad for spotting), rotating NG chin ups (side to side). L-ups, DB flies. Plyo clap pushups on bosu ball and Y/V/Arrow band series.
Ended with a hard 28 mile bike loop through Chapel Hill. Good team time trial on the last 1/3 of the ride. Brian saved the avg. as usual with great pulls, me just happy to finish strong. Came in at an 18.9 mph avg. VERY dece. Somehow BD upset we didn't break 19.0, but I'll never understand...
