This week has absolutely flown by...that's what tends to happen with lots to do and little time to do it. After going 1-1 last weekend we turned things around in our last two games going 2-0. Wednesday we played Salisbury which is a huge regional matchup for us. I played solid minutes, and it was a tough battle. Went into half only up 1-0 and coach said it was going to be a close/low-scoring game. We ended up winning 5-2. I set up our third (game winner) goal with a good through ball to our outside mid who crossed it to TJ for an easy finish. Glad we found our scoring rhythm.
Hit the road Thursday night after practice for a road trip to TN, where we played Sewanee Sunday evening. Did a lot of sightseeing and good eating with the guys over the weekend - saw lots of downtown Nashville, toured the Country Music Hall of Fame, and even met Little Richard!
We won on Sunday 3-1 and I helped set up our first and third goals in a similar fashion. A tough 11 hour bus ride followed through the night and arrived back on campus at 5:30 am this morning. Quick nap till 9am and then lots of work and tests had to be conquered today. I'm pooped...and the travel festivities will continue on in the coming days!

It really does seem like you just started your soccer career. Time really does fly. Best of luck in your senior night game tonight! I'm sure you'll do great. Wish I could've made the game but I know you'll rock it!
