As a result of my continued involvement in the world of fitness and sports performance training, I learned from my mentor Brian Diaz of the importance of training logs. Hence, below are my attempts to accurately document what I do as a collegiate soccer player, both on and off the field. Enjoy!

2-0 Weekend

Finally pulled in our first wins of the season this weekend with a solid 2-0 victory over Shenandoah on Friday night and 3-1 against VA Wesleyan (a local rival) last night. I played well in both halves of both games and created a number of opportunities.  I was so glad to have mom and dad come up and visit and watch this weekend as well.  They are so supportive and enthusiastic and I couldn't be more thankful to have them in my life.  I'm very thankful for the time I'm getting on the field (although I always want more) and glad we finally got ourselves on a winning track this weekend.  Will continue with the energy/intensity/focus through this week as we prepare to travel south for our conference season openers.  Here's a pic of the new uniforms in action from a special someone in the stands:

Also a shout out of congrats to Tyler on a great weekend of soccer on the road as he pulled in his first collegiate assist.  Hope everyone has a great week!
