As a result of my continued involvement in the world of fitness and sports performance training, I learned from my mentor Brian Diaz of the importance of training logs. Hence, below are my attempts to accurately document what I do as a collegiate soccer player, both on and off the field. Enjoy!

Week Updates

Now that I'm done with classes today I can take a breather to post some updates on this week's activity.

Monday- spent the morning catching up on work from the weekend.  Full body (mostly lower) afternoon lift with the team including hang cleans, front loaded squats, box jumps, swiss hams, abs, and box step ups.

Tuesday- weather started getting much nicer outside.  Had our indoor game with a solid win and a 1 mile addition to the running total for me.

Wednesday- back in the gym with the team for upper body - bench, push press, DB incline, dips, abs, cable lat pull downs, pushups, and DB shoulder series.  Did a 1 mile out and back run in the heat after the lift.

Today- great weather again.  Headed out with Colin on the Noland for 5 miles (hilly loop).  Averaged 7:30 miles for a 37:15 run...felt great and glad to have some company out there.  Off to UVa this weekend for a Catholic Diocesan conference...hopefully back to some mileage on Sunday.

Continued prayers for the Hubbard family as well as Brian as he battles some tough sickness with an upcoming surgery.
