As a result of my continued involvement in the world of fitness and sports performance training, I learned from my mentor Brian Diaz of the importance of training logs. Hence, below are my attempts to accurately document what I do as a collegiate soccer player, both on and off the field. Enjoy!

Day 1 Pre-Season '11

Day one under my belt and knock on wood I'm feeling good.
Hit the Noland this morning for our team fitness test- cruised the two miles at 12:06 while a number of people sprinted them all-out. Safe to say I've been here before and know not to go all-out in the first day or so. Had a good morning session following the run with skills and small sided games.

Tonight's session went decently- skills, small sided possession, a full field game and ended with sprints. I could have played better but I'm working back into it and have reasonable expectations for myself- starting jobs are not won or lost in pre-season...they are won through the course of the entire season. Back at it tomorrow.
