As a result of my continued involvement in the world of fitness and sports performance training, I learned from my mentor Brian Diaz of the importance of training logs. Hence, below are my attempts to accurately document what I do as a collegiate soccer player, both on and off the field. Enjoy!

Hot Ride

Had a nice morning at church and then joined up with the Jedi for a legendary ride around the Duke loop- 13.5 miles + rolling hills + extreme heat + the Jedi = a perfect Sunday afternoon. He made the call for a 19 mph. ride. I didn't think I had it in me...knew he could do it but my riding just hasn't been consistent enough. But we went for it. He pulled the first 6 miles, I pulled the next 4, he pulled the last 3.5. Happy to keep up and we came in at a respectable 18.6 average. Saw the legend Chip Denton out on the roads and stopped for a few minutes to talk to him...might have hurt the average slightly but definitely worth it and I was glad for a quick rest. Despite the heat and tiredness tonight, it made for a perfect Sunday afternoon.
