As a result of my continued involvement in the world of fitness and sports performance training, I learned from my mentor Brian Diaz of the importance of training logs. Hence, below are my attempts to accurately document what I do as a collegiate soccer player, both on and off the field. Enjoy!

Specialty

Friday was a good morning of training- lots of plyo and quickness drills (I like to call my specialty) in the gym before heading off to work.

3 sets of the following:
10 box jumps
16 vertimax squat jumps
100 slide board "running man"
15 BOSU ball plyo pushups

Followed with a series of quick sprints with various starts. Sore today but happy to have it off to recover from a long week of training and work.

Went to the CGHS women's soccer championship today...unfortunately they lost a tough 2-1 match but enjoyed some time getting to catch up with friends and family. Went to Colin's graduation party and had a great time catching up with Pattty and the rest of their family. A good start to the long weekend!
