As a result of my continued involvement in the world of fitness and sports performance training, I learned from my mentor Brian Diaz of the importance of training logs. Hence, below are my attempts to accurately document what I do as a collegiate soccer player, both on and off the field. Enjoy!

Back!

The team was back in full force today as we began our outdoor spring practice!
Headed to the weight room where I got in a set of abs with a few back and chest exercises.
2 sets of hanging body pulls and 2 sets of bench: 135 lbs 8x and 150 lbs (body weight) 6x
Then hit the field:
Warm-up/small sided drills
Then with an hour of 7v7 games- played/felt well, but ankle got a bit sore after a hit, have to stay on top of the ice and stretching for it as we work back more into playing.
Ended with abs and 5 sets of 40 yard gassers (40 yards and back 2x)
Most of the guys were dying but I had a solid showing despite the ankle being sore.

Time to get some rest for a big day of testing tomorrow...glad we're off from soccer...but then back at it on Wed.
