As a result of my continued involvement in the world of fitness and sports performance training, I learned from my mentor Brian Diaz of the importance of training logs. Hence, below are my attempts to accurately document what I do as a collegiate soccer player, both on and off the field. Enjoy!

Positve Week Ending

Finally had a good lift today to end the week on a good note.
Meathead rotation:
Ab warm up.
BB standing push press- 3 sets of 6 working up to 115 lbs
Deadlift- 3 sets of 8 working up to 215 lbs for the last set
BB lunges- 3 sets of 6 on each leg working up to 145 lbs
BB front squats- 3 sets of 6 working up to 185 lbs
NG chinups- 2 sets of 8, to failure on the 3rd (10 for me)
Hamstring kneeling let-downs- 3 sets of 8
Dynamax standing ball (12lbs) slams- 3 sets of 10
Ended with one set of 10 BB curls and one set of bench (8 reps of 135 lbs) which I was much more pleased with compared to Wednesday's results.

After the lift I grabbed my pre-packed recovery meal and ran over to the Freeman center to watch Kalee in her meet. She pole vaulted at 9' 4" today (best on the the CNU team) and ran 30 sec. flat in her leg of the 4X200 (which her team came 2nd in) All in all a very good day of activity to round off a solid third week back at school.
