As a result of my continued involvement in the world of fitness and sports performance training, I learned from my mentor Brian Diaz of the importance of training logs. Hence, below are my attempts to accurately document what I do as a collegiate soccer player, both on and off the field. Enjoy!

Pullin Through

With our fearless leader Brian trapped in Detroit this week, Chad and I continued our gym dominance this afternoon.
Our pullers lift:
NG lat. pulls combined with walking DB lunges
Ring (laying) pull ups and hanging L-ups
BB curls and med. ball decline pulses

What was supposed to be a fairly light lift turned into something quite difficult. Our abs were burning from yesterday's Dirty Thirty but we pushed each other through all the exercises. Then we jumped on the bikes for my interval workout:
5 minutes warm up
30 seconds hard, 2 minutes spinning for 25 straight minutes and ended with a 2 minute cool down. A total of 27 minutes of riding at 18.2 mph avg. for a total of 8.2 miles. I was pleased with today's work as was Chad.

Tomorrow will be an early day in the gym with both Brian and Meredith gone- Chad and I will have to be on our A game to help Morven train the Activedge community. Tomorrow's workout still in the designing phases....
